Urban Match Well, everyones favourite shoot, the Urban match!

A dynamic match run through from 100 - 25yds in quick succession, lots to think about like make safes, changing elevation or aiming off, positional adjustments off support and off hand, running in that deep gravel, so lots to get right on the day, but the reward for a good shoot is that great score! Adam Chapman proving that this match is his match, scoring an absolutely amazing 196, dropping just 4 points overall. Congratulations Adam! Will we see the like again? Short Range Practices Tricky day for those shooters firing their matches in the morning, the wind was a bit of a beast to work out, not quite left to right and with some gusting it made life a little difficult to handle. Of course, as random as Bisley is, some good scoring in the afternoon when some rain dropped the wind a little, well done to all! Now we are past the 10 matches, the leagues get interesting as your best ten scores of the season count. We now move into just two matches in March, and of course the Roberts and Roupell shoots in April (another seasons favourite!)

Thanks to all RCOs, Wing officers and diligence on the targets by all, butts parties dealt with the hand held targets in the wind perfectly! Few pictures donated from shooters and Paul Deach (NRA Photographer). Click to enlarge
